Although Janet is not mentioned in the new HUGH GRANT film, ABOUT A BOY, she does get a mention in the book written by Nick Hornby. It’s a great book so check it out when you get a chance.

They make a joke about Janet and Michael being the same person.
they are related so you know they going to look alike. around the eye they look alike and that about it, but have you seen her sister Rebbie. Now Rebbie and Janet could be the same person. Rebbie and Janet look like twins.
One question, How come she isan’t talked about in the film, but she’s talked about in the book? Daz what is the difference?
Well, I guess it’s to do with who wrote the screenplay – I mean look at the Da Vinci Code…the film is quite different in a lot of places! For starters, King’s College London – my university – is in the book but not in the film!
