We’ve finally got round to updating our Gallery. There are around 700 amazing photos that we’ve scoured the internet to bring to you, many of which you will not have seen before. HBO has been nominated for the 54th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in the category: Multi-Camera Picture Editing for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special. It was announced today in Los Angeles by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
The nominees include:
1) “A&E in Concert: Sting in Tuscany … All This Time,” A&E
2) “The 74th Annual Academy Awards,” ABC
3) “Come Together: A Night for John Lennon’s Words and Music,” TNT
4) “Janet Jackson: In Concert From Hawaii,” HBO
5) “John Leguizamo’s Sexaholix … A Love Story,” HBO; “U2 Elevation 2001: Live From Boston,” VH1.
The MTV Video Music Awards have always been renowned worldwide for the innovative set design and prestigious annual ceremony. This year, they are giving an MTV.com member the chance to present an award.
Janet Love likes to support fellow Janet fans and so we hope that you will consider casting your vote for 22-year-old Jamaal (featured as the Washington DC Would You Mind victim on the Hawaii DVD) who has made it to the first round.

UK FANS: Buy the ALL FOR YOU album for just £5.99 at your local Safeway. It’s extremely useful if you had an original version of the album which was faulty. Believe it or not, several copies were produced with a slightly altered version of BETTER DAYS in the UK as it used to skip a lot. If you had one of these copies, feel lucky because there were only a few produced until Virgin realised the error. You may also want to buy a new copy if your copy is scratched or worn out from overplaying!

A lot of people have been asking about the mysterious new DVD cover that is popping up. It is in fact the PROMOTIONAL DVD for the US and the cover and disc can be seen above thanks to Alan. It is currently unknown whether the actual DVD will have the same cover or the same disc label. For your information, there are no extra features on this version of the DVD but the camera angles are the same as the UK and International Versions. You Ain’t Right and All For You are merged into one track are Come Back To Me and Let’s Wait Awhile. The mistake in Trust A Try is also there. This DVD was only shipped to certain shows for promotional purposes – for example to be shown on big screens in music stores.
The DVD will be released in the US on September 3rd.

After the success of the first JANET LOVE UK fanmeeting, we are considering holding another one next month. However, as there is no HBO show to watch, we will probably just go out for a meal in London on a Saturday or Sunday night. The current date pencilled in is 17 or 18 August. Kingsley or I will contact everyone that came to the first meeting individually, but even if you did come, please still register your interest by sending an email to [email protected]. And let us know what food you like.
