A new biographical film on the life of Tupac includes narration from the late hip-hop star offering “gossipy dish and easy targets instead of insightful substance”, reports say. Tupac disses his Poetic Justice co-star Janet for requiring that he take an AIDS test before doing a love scene. The film is released on 14th November 2003 in the US.

Um….. Hello, Thank you very much. He claims the reason why he didn’t take one was because she didn’t ask that Q-tip take one so he felt as though he didn’t have to, but he claims that if she wanted him to he would have taken four tests for her.
Where did he get off dissin her , shes just tryin 2 be safe like any responsible adult. If u ask me people only get offended and deffensive when they have somethin’ 2 hide. I read somewhere it was Rene that wanted 2 Pac to take the test, not Janet. I went to a premiere of the movie, it was pretty funny.
I think J was wrong for asking for a AIDS test.
I mean it would be different if everyone had to take one but to single him out was disrespectful especially only for a kiss.

Tupac probably took it like she thought she was too good for him and that he was a nasty person and I think that was wrong of her, Rene or whoever to do that.
I read someplace that janet asked tupac to take and aids test because they were suppose to do a love scene, and it didn’t happen because he wouldn’t. So, if that was true, she was right about asking for the test. You just have to be really careful now of days.

Who is the say that Q-Tip never had an aids test and showed janet the results? maybe it was that janet actually knew q-tip. or maybe it was that she was not slated to do a love scene with him (i belive the 2 of them did have sex after the 99 vma’s but that is another topic) i dont think janet was wrong, tupac was living a self procliamed "thug" life, bragging about fucking a million nasty whores. what else would you do if you wer ein her place?
if u have the dvd of poetic justice and u listen to john singleton commentary he says that there was supposed to be a love sence but it rained.the love sence was going happen when janet and tupac was siting by the ocean. so i don’t blame janet at all.

Everyone should’ve took the test (hell I think that should be a requirement if your an actor) but don’t just say "hey you over there..the thug…yeah you and only you need to take the test".

I love jan to death and I agree she was being cautious but this also someone who supposedly has a lot of friends who is living with and died from AIDS. Which means she should have been educated enough to know that you can’t get it from rolling around in a "phony" love scene or kissing at that matter.

Well, first off Janet and Tupac are my favorite music stars. I love both with a passion, I just connect Janet with my dancing career. Anyway, I can understand Tupac’s perspective, because he was singled out as being a nasty outcast. I can see Janet back then getting a raunchy image of Tupac, but she is protrayed to be wild and spicy now. If one needs to take a test, then all should have. Just because Tuapc was a "thug" doesn’t make him the sex scum of the earth. So stop beatin up on Tupac! He was offended and he has a right to be.
