Virgin Records today confirmed to Janet Love that 20 Y.O. will receive its premiere on BET.com. The date is yet to be finalised but as soon as we know, it’ll be on Janet Love.

‘So Excited’ released to radio today
In a press release issued this morning, Virgin Records officially announced the release of So Excited to radio as well as celebrating Janet’s 30th Top 10 single with Call On Me.
Janet Jackson Scores 30th Top 10 Single with ‘Call On Me’ from Upcoming Album 20 Y.O.
NEW YORK, Aug. 28 /PRNewswire/ — With its Number 9 position, “Call On Me,” has become Janet Jackson’s 30th Top 10 single on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The R&B superstar is now tied with R. Kelly for scoring the most Top 10 singles since Billboard began deriving chart information from Nielsen SoundScan data in 1992.
Since then, Janet has had 15 chart-topping hits to Kelly’s 11, and seven consecutive Number One’s, including “That’s The Way Love Goes,” “Again,” “Any Time, Any Place/And On And On,” “Together Again,” “I Get Lonely,” “Doesn’t Really Matter,” and “All For You.”
The breezy, laid-back “Call On Me,” featuring St. Louis hip-hop star Nelly, is the lead-off single from Janet’s upcoming album 20 Y.O., which will be released by Virgin Records on September 26th. The second single from the album, “So Excited,” featuring rapper Khia, will be released to radio today. Dupri premiered the track on his radio show on Atlanta’s V-103 last weekend. Janet began shooting the video for the song in Los Angeles on August 23rd with noted director Joseph Kahn, who also directed her clip for “Doesn’t Really Matter.”
20 Y.O. marks the anniversary of Janet’s career-making 1986 album, Control, re-teaming her with her original collaborators, legendary hit-makers Jimmy “Jam” Harris and Terry Lewis, and Grammy-Award winner Jermaine Dupri.

The iTunes Australian music store features a tracklist for 20 Y.O. which also states that when an individual preorders the album they will receive a bonus track entitled Roll Witchu, the video for Call On Me plus a digital booklet. It is currently unknown whether this offer will apply to UK or US orders. Those who order through iTunes however will miss out on the bonus DVD that we mentioned earlier in the week.

Pictured in several outfits and poses, Janet is seen on a bed covered with a UK flag and having a cup of tea and cakes – a traditional British favourite! The interview has also been syndicated to OK!‘s partners worldwide including OK! Weekly in the United States and Hola! in Spain.

Information about 20 Y.O. Bonus DVD
According to the HMV Japan website, the bonus DVD that is packaged with the 20 Y.O. album will be called “Janet: 20 Y.O: The Project“. The website suggests that the DVD will include footage of photo shoots, Janet recording in the studio, video from the dancer auditions and the making of the Call On Me video.
