Janet’s performance at last night’s Billboard Awards saw her return to where she first started out – at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas. When Janet was just seven years old she appeared on stage there with her brothers in what was her first ever stage appearance.
Last night Janet performed Pleasure Principle and So Excited to open the show.
Janet is in Las Vegas this weekend rehearsing for tomorrow’s Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Check out the rehearsal photos below.

In a new message posted on her official website, Janet has let fans know that her next single will be With You.
Hey u guys –
How r u? I know, its been so long since I’ve written, but please forgive me. I miss u. And I thank u 4 everything u continue to do 2 support me.
So what’s happening with me. Well, I’ve been in extensive rehearsals 4 my upcoming appearance on the 2006 Billboard Awards. The kids and I have been working non-stop to give u a show-stopping performance – mixing a little old and new. The show airs live from Vegas on December 4th, so please tune in, u won’t want to miss it.
Right after Billboard, we’re going to start extensive rehearsals for my 2007 World Tour. Its going to be a retrospective of my 20 years and u know the choreography is going to be crazy! I’m excited about the ideas Gil & I have come up with and I can’t wait to hit the road!
