Janet attended the U.S. Open yesterday with her friend and make-up artist Fran. She watched number 12 seeded Venus Williams during her match against Kira Nagy of Hungary at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows in the Queens borough of New York City. She was also present during a tribute to Althea Gibson as part of the opening ceremonies.
Janet appears alongside her fellow female cast members from upcoming film Why Did I Get Married? in a photoshoot released to BlackFilm. In another photo Janet can be seen on the set of the film. The movie is released to cinemas in the US on October 12, 2007. No dates have been confirmed for international release.
