Janet tonight cancelled her Greensboro show hours before it was due to begin. She has also cancelled her show tomorrow in Atlanta. In a press release issued by the Greensboro Coliseum, it stated that Janet was advised not ot perform by a local doctor.
Due to illness, tonight’s (October 4) Janet Jackson concert at Greensboro Coliseum has been postponed. A recent illness caused the postponement of previous dates on her Rock Witchu Tour in Montreal, Boston and Philadelphia.
Janet arrived in Greensboro hoping to perform tonight in an effort not to disappoint her fans. However, after arriving at the Coliseum it became evident she had not fully recovered. A local doctor advised that she not perform this evening.
Ticketholders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets pending a future announcement regarding the rescheduled date.
Patrons who wish to obtain a refund may do so beginning on Monday, October 6th at their respective point of purchase.
Whilst a new date has not yet been announced for the Greensboro show, Janet has also cancelled tomorrow’s concert in Atlanta and will instead perform there on October 19th. All tickets are still valid.

she cancelled her shows because if she continues, the greater their losses will be, nobody’s watching her tour
i think she had valid reasons, who would want to perform in front of 10 people, that’s why she cancelled
i think that if she cancelled due 2 low ticket sales they would have known way b4 30 minutes b4 the show starts dontcha think. i also think that by that time the arena was packed if not those that had shown up would have known that that was the case!! i think she had valid reason 2 cancel whatever that is its still her business. whatever it is i hope she gets it moving the show was bomb!!!
poor janet, i hope she saved enough money for her retirement. let’s face it, when your done your done
