Janet will release a new version of her single No Sleeep featuring rapper J. Cole, Billboard.com has reported.
The track, which is set to debut today, will appear on Janet’s upcoming album which is due out in September, according to the site.
It means that Janet’s solo version of No Sleeep will not appear on the album. The track was recorded two weeks ago according to Billboard’s sources.
Janet recently attended the Los Angeles stop on J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive Tour on Sunday at Staples Center. She tweeted a photo of herself with her new dancers at the show which was also attended by Jimmy Jam.
Update: The song has been premiered on US radio and will be released in the coming days.

Jermaine Dupri has posted a brand new remix of Plies‘ track Bust It Baby on his YouTube page, which features Ne-yo and new vocals from Janet.
Listen to it below:
Red Rat’s remix of Can’t B Good can be streamed on his official MySpace page.
In an interview with The Jamaica Observer, Jamaican rapper Red Rat has said that he has been working on Can’t B Good with Janet. At the moment, no further details have been released as to whether the song will be re-released, or whether the version will simply be a remix.
Red Rat is quoted as saying: “Actually, I just finished doing a song with Janet Jackson which will be my next single.
“The song with Janet Jackson is called This Can’t Be Good. It suppose to be the second single of her album, so wi a cross wi fingers and wi toes yuh nuh.”
This will be the third time that Janet has collaborated with a Jamaican artist, having worked with Beenie Man on Feel It Boy and Elephant Man on a remix of All Nite (Don’t Stop). Both have previously been surrounded in controversy because of the artists’ apparently homophobic lyrics.
There appears to be no evidence linking Red Rat to any similar controversy.
So there are quite a few decent Janet music mashups on the internet featuring some of her tracks mixed together.
Indeed, there are others which feature a Janet track hashed with another artist.
But they never seem to be the ones I want to hear. I am dying to hear a version of R&B Junkie mixed with 2Nite and also Let Me Know mixed with Wanna Love You Girl by Robin Thicke as they have identical beats.
So if anyone knows of one, or feels like making one then you’d be my ickle hero!
